Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson?has undergone surgery, which was intended to ascertain the extent of damage to the meniscus in his right knee, coach Gary Kubiak said.Anderson, who is out indefinitely, tweeted about the surgery Friday morning and called it a super success.Whether Anderson has a full or partial tear in the meniscus was to be determined during the arthroscopic procedure. A full tear would almost surely end his season, and a partial tear could mean a four- or five-week absence.If the Broncos elect to put Anderson on injured reserve and want to bring him back this season, he has to be out for at least six weeks before he can return to practice and has to be out for a minimum of eight weeks before he can play in a game.So that we can further evaluate whats going on and go from there, Kubiak said of the surgery.
