Every week, well mine the waiver wire for lesser-owned assets to help your squad, whether you favor dynasty or the re-draft format -- and well also toss in some tips for DFS players out there. Categorized by position, the players are ranked in descending order by ownership percentage in ESPN leagues.Well also include some former go-to fantasy assets who may be overvalued -- in the short or long term -- for one reason or another.ForwardsBryan Little, C, Winnipeg JetsOwnership percentage: 28.5Suffering a lower-body injury in the seasons opener, Little is eyeing his return to Winnipegs lineup, perhaps as early as Tuesday versus the Devils. When ready and able, the top-six centerman is pegged to split wingers Blake Wheeler and Drew Stafford on a potentially dangerous line for the Jets. A consistently productive (and underrated) presence for some time now, Little has averaged 0.74 points per game in his past four campaigns.Mikael Granlund, C/LW, Minnesota WildOwnership percentage: 21.1With a goal and four helpers in his past four games, Granlund is proving to be a valuable member of the Wilds top six and power play. ESPNs Sean Allen elaborates on why you should consider the 24-year-old for your own squad in Mondays rankings column:Granlund has seemingly earned more and more of new Wild coach Bruce Boudreaus trust as the season wears on. He started the season playing about 17 minutes per game, was up to 19 minutes on average by the end of October and has almost averaged 20 minutes per contest in November. The results are showing on the scoreboard, with Granlund set to double his point total from October with a point on Tuesday. Playing on the second line and second power-play unit with Mikko Koivu, Granlund deserves to be picked up in most fantasy formats.Travis Zajac, C, New Jersey DevilsOwnership percentage: 21.0While a red-hot Michael Cammalleri probably isnt available in your league, his underappreciated centerman might well be. Or, if power-play points are at a premium, lk instead to Pavel Zacha (ownership percentage: 2.0), who centers the dynamic winger with the man advantage. Further, before he inevitably cls off (or gets hurt) again, consider also pairing Cammalleri with Zajac or Zacha in DFS play.Sam Reinhart, C/LW, Buffalo SabresOwnership percentage: 20.0Make no mistake, the return of a healthy Jack Eichel is huge for a young Sabres club struggling to score in the early stages of 2016-17. And while Eichel is likely already spoken for in your fantasy league, his projected linemate -- Reinhart, shifted to the right -- might be up for grabs. Along with Evander Kane on the opposite wing, that trio could do a lot of damage moving forward.Josh Bailey, LW/RW, New York IslandersOwnership percentage: 8.2By their own admission, the Islanders top line of Bailey, John Tavares, and rkie Anthony Beauvillier (ownership percentage: 1.0) is starting to click -- as supported further by Baileys beauty no-lk assist on the captains first-period goal in Mondays 2-1 overtime win over the Calgary Flames. The clubs top power play -- including Tavares and Bailey -- also lks to be heating up after a dismal launch to the campaign. Owners is deeper leagues may want to jump on the 27-year-old winger before the option fades. Additional note: Ryan Strome has sat as a healthy scratch for two straight contests. Bench until further notice.Marian Gaborik, RW, Los Angeles KingsOwnership percentage: 7.5A broken ft suffered at this falls World Cup, and its like weve entirely forgotten about the veteran winger who scored 30-plus goals seven times in his NHL career (27 goals in 69 games only two seasons ago). While more prosperous days are in the past for the 34-year-old, hes hardly worth the fantasy brush-off altogether. A top-six role with the Kings awaits Gaborik, following another game or two of warm-up.Brayden Point, C/LW, Tampa Bay LightningOwnership percentage: 1.6Disclosure: Our heightened interest in Point is founded on all of one period of play between the Lightning and Bruins this past Sunday, as coach Jon Cper noted, via the Tampa Bay Times:After playing most of this season at the wing, rkie Brayden Point got to play his natural center position in the third period, and he lked gd with [Jonathan] Drouin. Right now youre lking to see what different guys can do in situations, Cper said. What we were doing wasnt working. Point is a natural center. We put him in there, and once again, he didnt disappoint. So this could amount to the start of gorgeous scoring chemistry between two talented forwards in their early 20s ... or nothing at all. Hes worth a speculative add in order to find out.Nick Cousins, C, Philadelphia FlyersOwnership percentage: 0.4A knee injury suffered by Sean Couturier sees Cousins take over the centermans spot on a line with Travis Konecny and Wayne Simmonds. With Couturier out four to six weeks, the 23-year-old should get an extended lk in that plum role.DefensemenJonas Brodin, Minnesota WildOwnership percentage: 10.5Five assists and one goal in a half dozen games have us, once again, paying closer attention to Brodin. Especially since three of his most recent four points counted with the man advantage. As a bonus for some of you out there, the 24-year-old also has 10 blocked shots in his past quartet of contests.Troy Stecher, Vancouver CanucksOwnership percentage: 0.7Game by game, Stecher appears to be getting more comfortable in his Vancouver digs. Now with Alexander Edler (fractured finger) out four to six weeks, the Canucks will need more from their 22-year-old rkie defenseman. This kid isnt scared to sht the puck (41 shots in just 13 games), block a shot or throw a hit. And he skated a season-high 240 -- including a defense-leading 2:24 with the extra skater -- in Saturdays wild affair with over the Colorado Avalanche. While were still discussing pure potential over any real scoring statistics, Stecher nevertheless might be worth a flier in deeper leagues.GoaltendersMike Smith, Arizona CoyotesOwnership percentage: 20.1While were indeed wary of championing a fantasy goalie for one of the most porous teams in the league -- their 3.15 goals against per game is the fourth most in the NHL this season -- Smith has been flat-out awesome in three of his past four consecutive starts, allowing five total goals on 121 shots in wins over the Sharks and Oilers (twice). Plus, theres the obvious upside to enlisting a netminder who faces more shots, on average, than anyone else: the potential for a lovely save percentage if he manages to stop nearly all of them.Jonathan Bernier, Anaheim DucksOwnership percentage: 7.5A quarter of the way through 2016-17, and theres no arguing Bernier has been better (2.02 goals-against average, .933 save percentage) than the Ducks top banana John Gibson. That prompts Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register to suggest the club may want to run with their understudy for the time being:Bernier continues to give the Ducks some effective goaltending in what is still a backup role. Perhaps some thought may need to be given toward letting Bernier have the net for a bit of time. It isnt that John Gibson has been bad or even pedestrian in his starts but this is a team that needs to start getting a run together and right now, it is responding to Bernier. Hes now won four of his last five starts, with the only loss coming in a 14-round shtout. Theyll need Gibson and this way he doesnt get overworked in the early part of the schedule.Yeah, youll want shares of Bernier in the event he does start seeing more action.Lowered expectationsJames Neal, LW/RW, Nashville PredatorsOwnership percentage: 92.5Placed on IR with an upper-body injury, Neal is out for the remainder of this week at minimum. Following his call-up from AHL Milwaukee, Kevin Fiala skated on a line with Mike Ribeiro and Craig Smith on Sunday. The 20-year-old prospect has eight points in seven games with the Admirals this season.Jimmy Vesey, LW, New York RangersOwnership percentage: 52.1After making much noise with six goals in his first 10 NHL games, Vesey has since quieted. Tucked away on the Rangers fourth line -- he played only 11 minutes against the Ottawa Senators on Sunday -- the Harvard product has only two assists in his past seven contests. A valuable asset in dynasty leagues, Vesey would best fit on your bench until his fortunes change. Joe Mullen Penguins Jersey .ca NHL Power Rankings for the second straight week, ahead of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Colorado Avalanche. Dominik Simon Penguins Jersey . "Hes going to have hip surgery on Jan. 7, and hell be expected to rehabilitate for four to six months beyond that," Canucks general manager Mike Gillis said Friday in an interview. http://www.penguinsauthenticofficial.com/chad-ruhwedel-jersey/ . Any real chance at payback wont come until the playoff. Still, Pittsburgh knows its taut 3-2 win over the Bruins on Wednesday night is a pretty gd place to start laying the groundwork. "They are a very gd defensive team," Penguins forward Brandon Sutter said. Jack Johnson Penguins Jersey . -- Hunter Smith scored the winner with just 12 seconds remaining in the third period as the Oshawa Generals edged the host Sarnia Sting 5-4 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action. Bryan Trottier Penguins Jersey . -- Adam Snyder returned to the San Francisco 49ers this season because the offensive lineman thought it was his best opportunity to win a championship. First, there was planking. Then came the mannequin challenge. Now, the internet has unveiled its latest viral sensation: the water bottle challenge. The object is simple. You take a nearly full water bottle and flip it once, with the goal being to have the bottle land perfectly upright. It sounds easy, but even some of the best athletes in the country struggle to conquer the water bottle challenge. That isnt the case for the Philadelphia 76ers, though.Various members of the Sixers tk their best attempts at the water bottle challenge before tipoff of their game Thursday night, and seemingly every player who tried the cchallenge succeeded.dddddddddddd? As LeBron James and his teammates reminded us Wednesday night when they routed the New York Knicks, its important to keep the fun alive in sports. James, Kyrie Irving and several other Cleveland Cavaliers players could be seen attempting the water bottle challenge on the sideline during the fourth quarter.?The Sixers proved they can dominate the water bottle challenge, but will they dominate in their game against the New Orleans Pelicans??-- Meaghan Latella ' ' '
